Global National, The Morning Show | Plants with Medicinal Muscle

Plants have been used as medicines for thousands of years. In many cultures around the world plants are a primary source of medicine. Check out my interview on The Morning Show where I discuss five plants that have made their way from the garden patch to the medicine cabinet:
Ivy Leaf – effective as an expectorant and to relieve cough and symptoms of chronic bronchitis.
Purple Cone Flower – also known as Echinacea; used for immune support, to relieve cold symptoms and shorten duration of respiratory infections.
Lavender – promoted calming and relaxation.
Aloe Vera – helps relieve minor burns, including sunburn as well as skin irritations.
Peppermint – used to aid digestion and relieve upset stomach.
